Instagram Food & Beverages Pages I love for Inspiration

Social media market is constantly changing. New trends appear daily that you now have to manipulate to work for your business or organization. These help to increase your engagement and views. As beneficial as trends are, the constant fast paced changes may cause you to lose sight of the direction you want to go. So to stay grounded, I like to find a few pages that have the aesthetic and feel that I would like to emulate. I occasionally go back and view these pages then head to the drawing board to make tweaks. Yes, I still pay attention to the current trends but I also have to stay true to the company’s brand! Some of my favourite pages to view for content inspiration, in no particular order, are down below!

J. Lohr Vineyards and Wines – @jlohrwines

J. Lohr Vineyards’ instagram feed is filled with insightful facts about the vintages and varietals of wine they carry. They do recipes for foods that pair well with their wines, gift ideas, and they also have tips and tricks for hosting events with their wines. They go the extra mile to have you stay on their page, share their content and their page is honestly just a breath of fresh air. Often you find wine pages to be a little stuffy but I appreciate the fact that they don’t take themselves too seriously and allow everyone (experienced wine drinkers as well as those who would love to learn more) to learn and enjoy without being boring.

Girl & The Goat Chicago – @girl.and.the.goat

This is a restaurant based in Chicago that I have never been to. Actually, I have never visited any of these places I am mentioning in this blog but their content has me wanting to visit as soon as I find the time (and money). I visit this page for their food shots. Mouthwatering is an understatement. I strive to have my photos look as appetizing as theirs. You almost feel as though you can taste it. In their captions, their dishes sound like art pieces and it helps so much with understanding the flavour profile of the dish! Go check out their page to find out what I mean!

Tank Garage Winery – @tankwinery

SO MUCH FUN! What you will find with many of the pages I look at for inspiration is that they are very light hearted, fun, relaxed pages. I find that people gravitate to those pages more than the constant promotional artwork that requires you to stop and read. Their reels are quick and fun. I feel like I know their team as though I have been there before. Again, I have never been there once BUT I would LOVE to visit because of how awesome their energy is. A page that makes me smile is a page I will always come back to!

Sam Schnur – @thenaughtyfork

One word to describe Sam Schnurs page, “SINFUL!” The food looks amazing and her reels are so visually appealing. I completely understand why they receive the amount of views they do! Her page, which reminds me of a digital cookbook, is easy to search. The item she is making is the item that is used as the cover photo for her reels. Her page is loaded with amazing cheese pulls, and who doesn’t love a good cheese pull moment? Thinking about it now is making my mouth water! I must stop!

Salt Hank – @salt_hank

The DEFINITION of mouthwatering. I think of Salt Hank and I think of a perfectly seasoned au jus and dipping my next roast beef sandwich with pesto and a prosciutto in it! The man’s page is a gold mine for food porn! The majority of his items are sandwiches, yes but it’s all about the angles in his reels and how fast they go by yet still he makes you want to devour one of these sandwiches even if you’re on a diet.

These are just a few of my favourite inspo pages but if I am ever not sure of what to post or how to post I always go back to these pages to see what gets the most views, what I would love to attempt for some of my own pages and how to make it more my own (adding my own style and flavour to it!) Check them out if you are interested to see what I am talking about but remember they are not the law! Find pages that you like and find inspiring and find ways and tactics to make content that you are proud of.

Stay creative friends!

Till next time!
